The Cuba frangipani has thin glossy leaves, a scented flower and has a compact dwarf-like appearance. While its scent might not be as strong as the more common Singapore, it has proven to us here at Eumundi to be the most evergreen of all frangipani species.

The Plumeria cubensis was recently renamed to Plumeria sericifolia and might also be categorized as a sub species of Plumeria obtusa and named as Plumeria Obtusa var. cubensis or Plumeria Obtusa var. sericifolia.
